Terms of Service

Welcome to MemoExpo. By creating an account or using the MemoExpo app or memoexpo.com, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use MemoExpo.

1. Who can use MemoExpo

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use MemoExpo. You're responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure.

2. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse

You must not post, send or share anything that:

• is sexually explicit, or sexualises minors in any way;
• harasses, bullies, threatens, stalks or intimidates anyone;
• promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm or hatred against people based on who they are;
• reveals someone else's private information, including where they live or where they are, without their consent;
• is spam, advertising, scams or impersonation;
• is illegal, or infringes someone else's rights, including copyright.

You must not use MemoExpo to track, follow or locate another person against their wishes, to arrange anything illegal, or to try to get around blocks, ghost mode or our location privacy protections.

3. Moderation, reporting and blocking

• Posts are reviewed before they become visible to other users. We may decline or remove any content at our discretion.
• You can report any post and block any user from within the app. Blocking hides each of you from the other's posts and Nearby lists and prevents messages.
• We review reports promptly and aim to act on them within 24 hours, including removing content and suspending the users responsible.

4. Meeting people

MemoExpo shows people who are physically near you. Use good judgement: meet in public places, tell a friend where you're going, and never share information you're not comfortable sharing. We don't conduct background checks on users and aren't responsible for how users behave offline.

5. Your content

You own the photos and text you post. By posting, you give MemoExpo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute that content within the service, for as long as it's on MemoExpo. You confirm you have the right to post it.

6. Your account

You can stop using MemoExpo at any time and ask us to delete your account at support@memoexpo.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms or put others at risk.

7. The service

We're constantly improving MemoExpo and may change, suspend or discontinue features. Place information in Discover comes from third-party sources and may be inaccurate. MemoExpo is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, MemoExpo is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for the conduct of other users, arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If the changes are significant we'll let you know in the app. Continuing to use MemoExpo after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Apple

If you downloaded MemoExpo from the Apple App Store, these Terms are between you and MemoExpo, not Apple. Apple has no responsibility for the app or its content, and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
